aDoes saying that make me racist? Well either way I fortunately was not the one to speak those words. Instead it's one of a few choice quotes from Mrs. Obama's event coordinators.

Michelle Obama was conducting a campaign event and officially speaking on behalf of husband Barack Obama. The event was at Carnegie Mellon University. To show the campaign's diversity, her and her staff hand picked people from the audience to sit behind her based on ethnicity. They even arranged them to give the most effective message.

While the crowd was indeed diverse, some students at the event questioned the practices of Mrs. Obama's event coordinators, who handpicked the crowd sitting behind Mrs. Obama. The Tartan's correspondents observed one event coordinator say to another, "Get me more white people, we need more white people." To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, "We're moving you, sorry. It's going to look so pretty, though."

"I didn't know they would say, 'We need a white person here,' " said attendee and senior psychology major Shayna Watson, who sat in the crowd behind Mrs. Obama. "I understood they would want a show of diversity, but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn't know it would be so outright."

My first reaction is big deal, I mean really so they want to at least pretend to be diverse and to represent everyone; whats new?

Then my thoughts turn to what Barack Obama would say if John McCain's group had done the exact same thing. I'm only assuming it would take minutes before high-ranking democrats were calling for him to step down from his Presidential run and calling him a racist and bigot...
