Al Gore is a Windbag

I dislike Al Gore for a number of reasons; his exploitation of environmental concerns to the tune of 10's of millions of dollars is just the tip of the iceberg, but last night I was cruising the dozens of world news RSS feeds in my beloved Google Reader when I ran across an article that joins the ever growing list of articles to again point a shadowing finger at Al Gore for his complete absurdness and do as I say don't do what I do persona.

The Tennessee Center for Policy Research is just one of the more recent publishers to point out Al Gore’s Hypocritical life style. Whether it's personal jets or using electricity at more than 20x the averge American Household rate, All Gore continues to give us reasons to call him a fraud!

"In the past year, Gore’s home burned through 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month." -CTPR

Now you could tell me that the evil empire (G Bush) was using 30 times the power and I could care less. Mr. Gore has decided to preach to me that I should decrease my footprint by ME changing MY life. He has told 10's of thousands of people here and abroad that we should drive a smaller cars and make personal concessions so we don't hurt the environment as much, bla bla bla. Yet it appears he hasn't made a single personal consession aside about $16k in window upgrades after getting 'caught'.

When will people see this man for the scam artist he is and stop fueling his retirement?

Al Gore is a moron!   I can't believe that idiot was ever even considered for the Nobel Peace Prize, much less that he won it!   That in itself makes me lose a little respect for the Nobel Peace Prize, 'cause obviously they'll give it to any idiot for no reason.   I'm so glad they're bringing these things about him to the public eye.   Surprisingly, if you do any research on G. Bush's Texas ranch, you'll find that his home there is EXTREMELY "green".

@Ralph:

#1) If you would be all to kind and read the VERY large blog description at the top of all of my pages you will find that I will not write about only tech related topics

#2) This is my blog, I can write about what ever I want

#3) I do believe your the only one here who should be embarrassed. I used facts and stated obvious knowns; you called me stupid yet offer no facts or tid-bits of knowledge.

#4) Al Gore is exploiting the environmental cause. I may be a Fiscal Conservative but I have my believes on the environment and I don't think Al Gore is helping the cause. I can do another blog post on this topic in further depth if you want, or allow me I should say...

Since you're censoring my comments, I'll dial it down a little and just say that the Tennessee Center for Policy Research is a right-wing lobbying group and citing them in criticizing Gore is not very compelling, as if the absurdity of that sentence weren't already enough of a give-away: "Al Gore is exploiting the environmental cause."   You mention other publishers.   Can you actually name any that aren't politically motivated?

Political motivation does not make fact = fiction.

I stand 110% behind my comment and commitment to the statment that Al Gore IS in fact exploiting the Environmental cause. He has made 10's of millions of dollars in this field and the truth is he has not done a single thing.

Al Gore can't make policy, can't invent something to better this world and can't convince other governments to change policy and he's certainly not a scientist with any proof to back up a single thing he says...

What he can do is make a movie that is filled with so much bullshit that it pushes people away from the idea of global warmer that are just on the other side of the fence or further away. Then to throw on some whip cream he blames everything from freezing temperatures to hot ones all on global warming.

I commend Al Gore for choosing something of value to do with his life after politics (still hasn't really left) but I disagree and disprove with his methods and his absurd gains.
